Terms of Service

ChikiPay is currently in pre-launch. These terms will be finalized before the platform opens to creators and buyers. Last updated: August 2026.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ChikiPay ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Platform Description

ChikiPay is a digital content checkout platform that enables creators to sell photo sets and video bundles to their audience. ChikiPay provides the storefront, payment processing, and content delivery infrastructure.

3. Creator Accounts

To sell content on ChikiPay, you must create a creator account, verify your identity with a government-issued ID, and agree to our Content Policy. You must be at least 18 years of age. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Fees and Payments

ChikiPay charges a 10% platform fee on each sale. Payment processing fees are charged separately by our payment processor. Creators receive payouts on a biweekly schedule for earnings that meet the minimum payout threshold of $20.00 USD.

5. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to ChikiPay. By uploading content, you grant ChikiPay a limited license to display, distribute, and process your content as necessary to operate the Platform — including generating watermarked previews and forensic-watermarked deliverables for buyers.

6. Prohibited Content

All content must comply with our Content Policy. ChikiPay reserves the right to remove content that violates our policies and to suspend or terminate accounts with repeated violations.

7. Buyer Terms

By purchasing content on ChikiPay, buyers confirm they are at least 18 years of age. All sales are final except where refunds are initiated by the creator or required by law. Purchased content is for personal use only and may not be redistributed.

8. Forensic Watermarking

All delivered files contain invisible forensic watermarks linked to the buyer's purchase. This technology exists to protect creators from content piracy. Buyers acknowledge that redistributing purchased content may result in identification and account termination.

9. Refunds and Chargebacks

Creators may issue refunds within 7 days of purchase. Chargeback fees incurred by the Platform will be passed to the creator's account. Excessive chargeback rates may result in account review or suspension.

10. Limitation of Liability

ChikiPay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ChikiPay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
